Dr. Reuben Katene - Dentist

I was born and raised in Hamilton, New Zealand, and completed my secondary education at Hamilton Boys’ High School before graduating from the University of Otago in 2022 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

With strong family ties to the Counties region, working at Auckland Family Dental Drury truly feels like home. My approach to dentistry is straightforward, practical, and conservative, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs.

For the past two years, I have gained extensive experience working in South Auckland, specifically in Manukau, where I have provided comprehensive dental care. I have a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, and fixed prosthetics such as crowns and veneers. I am committed to helping patients achieve both functional and aesthetic outcomes, while ensuring their experience is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Outside of work, I have a wife and young son, and our small family lives locally here in Drury. We’re an active and adventurous little family who love exploring the outdoors and making the most of our time together.
